About Us
Established in June 1991, The Avenue Private Day Care Ltd is a private day nursery offering childcare for little ones aged 6 weeks to 4 years. Our day care services are great for all, and we also offer before and after school care, as well as holiday sessions. We’re based in Leigh, Lancashire, and welcome children from throughout the local area.
We’re government funded for two, three, and four year old children, and our experienced team offer excellent services at all times. The nursery consists of five rooms and our team are qualified to level 3 or above. They’re also trained in first aid, health and safety, basic food hygiene, and safeguarding.

The weekly cost of a child who doesn't receive the 15 hours free childcare funding is £170.00.
The minimum sessions we provide is 4 sessions.
This can be 4 mornings, 4 afternoons or 2 full days and the cost of this is £80.00 per week.
We offer a range of sessions and prices and we always recommend that you visit us to have a look around the nursery and this will also gives us the chance to discuss the sessions and prices that are best suited for you.
Caring Day Nursery with a Breakfast Club
Feel assured that your child will be safe and have fun while you’re at work. At our day nursery and breakfast club in Leigh, Lancashire, we cater to your child’s individual needs so that they look forward to staying with us during the day.
Fun-Filled Day Care
When your child is aged from six weeks to four years old, they are more than welcome to join us here at The Avenue Private Day Nursery for days that are filled with exciting activities. Each youngster has a key worker who tracks their development to ensure that they are progressing. We offer lots of messy activities such as jelly and pasta play, so we do advise that you bring a set of spare clothes for them. Our full-time day care is between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. and includes breakfast such as toast, fruit, and cereal.
Fun After-School Clubs and Day Care
Look no further than The Avenue Private Day Nursery in Leigh, Lancashire, for entertaining after-school clubs and day care. These are available for children aged 4 to 11 years old and they can stay with us before or after school.
Before or After School Clubs
Your child is able to continue learning and having fun at our after school clubs. These are also available before school to prepare them for the day ahead with homemade snacks and drinks of juice and milk. We will take them to school or alternatively pick them up at the end of the day. Our before school clubs consist of a morning session from 7:30 a.m. which includes breakfast such as toast, fruit, or cereal. If your child would prefer to attend an after school club, we will pick them up from school and provide their tea so you don’t have to worry. Furthermore, our services are available from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Holiday Club
Need care during the school holidays? The Avenue Private Day Nursery offers holiday care too. With lots of amazing activites and trips for your child to take part in, its a great way for you to destress about childcare in the school holidays. Holiday club is open from 7:30am until 6:00pm Monday to Friday. We will provide your child with breakfast and tea during the day.
